We have some news to share regarding our musical – we finally have an improved version of the video of “Hidden” livestream from the Sunday, May 21 performance. We have added captions, and tried to fix some of the balance problems. The biggest hold-up was dealing with the French song (“Chanson d’automne”), which caused YouTube to block the video initially due to copyright issues. We finally found a way to license the song at the level which allowed us to re-record it.

Please feel free to share the link far and wide! Originally we had thought to charge a small fee for the link, but now we are just encouraging people to donate if they wish: https://fundraising.fracturedatlas.org/hidden-the-musical
There have been requests to have a showing or “watch party” of the video at various places, including synagogues and Senior Centers. If you are interested in doing that, please contact us: david2kind@gmail.com. It may be possible for us to come and do a short talk-back afterward.
Update on what is happening with the musical:
We are committed to improving the musical and getting it out to more places. We would love to see a fully staged production of this work. To that end, we are now working with a dramaturg (kind of like a book editor, but for theater) to help us shape and improve the show. We’re getting things ready to apply to several festivals and we would like to start reaching out to local theaters. If you have connections to a theater, please let us know.
We are also going to work on a shorter, traveling version to bring to schools and synagogues. All this takes time and money. If you would like to donate to help us move this piece along we would greatly appreciate it. You can donate here: https://fundraising.fracturedatlas.org/hidden-the-musical
